Dr. Glenn Brien, Engineer, Organisational Culture Consultant, co-founder of Salple
Glenn is an Engineer, an Organisational Culture Consultant, and the co-founder of Salple. His engineering activities included a 10-year tenure at ANCA, where he led the CNC Software department. He has a PhD in manufacturing engineering (software) and the algorithms he developed during his research are integral to the ANCA CNC architecture. In the past 8 years, he has turned his attention to Organisational Culture, consulting to over 45 Australian businesses, including manufacturers (e.g.: Sutton Tools, Ronstan). Bringing an engineering mindset to culture has led him and his partner Michelle, to develop a data-informed framework for designing, implementing and measuring effective company cultures and talent management strategies. Glenn is also the developer of the Salpulse culture software.
Title: Using Data to Build a Thriving Workplace Culture
Description:
In this talk, Glenn will demonstrate how data-informed approaches can transform your hiring practices, enhance employee engagement, focus your employee development efforts, and enhance retention. By moving beyond gut feel, you’ll gain a deep understanding of how employees and candidates fit their roles and contribute positively to your company’s culture. You’ll also be introduced to the concept of a “Culture Code”, a way of systematically building, measuring, and maintaining a culture that aligns with your business goals. And you’ll discover how a Culture Code can be used to attract top talent in a tight labour market.
Key takeaway:
By being intentional about designing a culture that serves your purpose and harnessing behavioural analytics data, you can create a cohesive, focused, and high-performing culture that drives success, whilst also attracting and retaining top talent.
